Beef exports closed on a high in the first quarter of 2019, according to data from the Secretary of Foreign Trade (Secex), released by the Brazilian Association of Beef Exporting Industries (Abiec). In this period, shipments totaled 538,523 tons, an increase of 11.7% in relation to the same period last year, when 482,114 tons were exported.
